OUT OF TOUCH MUCH?: Blake Masters Edition

PHOENIX — This week, we’re spotlighting the GOP Senate primary candidates, breaking down their most out-of-touch policy positions, and outlining just how unfit they are to represent Arizonans in the U.S. Senate.

First up: California tech bro and Peter Thiel’s personal puppet: Blake Masters.
Known for name-dropping his billionaire benefactor, auctioning off access to his Big Tech boy’s club, and doing anything to get Donald Trump’s attention, the Silicon Valley sweetheart is running on an agenda that is entirely out of step with Arizona voters:

  • Masters is running to implement a nationwide ban on abortion — a cruel, extremist plan that runs counter to the 87% of Arizonans who believe abortion should be legal. He also supports severely restricting access to birth control.
  • Masters has shamelessly touted Trump’s lies around the 2020 election — even going so far as to cut a campaign ad with a simple message, “I think Trump won in 2020.”
  • Masters scoffed at the idea of suspending the federal gas tax and passing savings on to hardworking Arizonans, not oil and gas companies.
  • Masters was caught promoting his billionaire boss’s businesses on the campaign trail, showing us all exactly who he’s running to represent.
  • Masters practically begged for known antisemite Marjorie Taylor Greene’s endorsement and was even caught promoting a Nazi leader himself.

“For over a decade, Masters has been riding the coattails of Silicon Valley Big Tech billionaires, and this latest venture — a run for U.S. Senate — is no exception,” said ADP spokesperson Hannah Goss. “No matter how many checks Peter Thiel writes to bankroll Blake Masters’ stalled candidacy, nothing will change the fact that Masters’ MAGA agenda is deeply out of step with what Arizonans actually want.”
