Blake Masters is Against Lowering Gas Prices For Arizonans…Do His #AZSen Primary Opponents Agree?

PHOENIX — Earlier this week, Silicon Valley sweetheart turned GOP Senate candidate Blake Masters came out in strong opposition to a new piece of legislation introduced by Senator Mark Kelly that will lower the price at the pump by suspending the federal gas tax and passing savings on to Arizonans, not oil and gas companies.

Masters, who is backed by billionaire benefactor Peter Thiel and his $10 million Super PAC pledge, scoffed at the idea of saving struggling Arizonans 18 cents per gallon at the pump. So far, his opponents Jim Lamon, who has been busy using his $50 million in personal wealth to buy up endorsements, and Mark Brnovich, who spent last week pursuing an overtly political lawsuit that will likely get laughed out of court, have been silent on the proposal.

“This legislation would lower everyday costs for Arizonans by driving down the price of gas  — and out of touch Silicon Valley elitist Blake Masters either doesn’t understand what that means for hardworking Arizonans, or he doesn’t care. Blake Masters’ opposition is out of touch with Arizonans, but that’s really no surprise since he’s spent over a decade working in California. But one question remains: Do Jim Lamon and Mark Brnovich agree?” said ADP spokesperson Hannah Goss.
