ROLL THE LAKE TAPES: Kari Lake’s Campaign Makeover Has “Fallen Flat”

Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024

ARIZONA -– Today’s episode of the Lake Tapes looks at why “Kari Lake’s attempt at a campaign makeover appears to have fallen flat” and Lake “faces an uphill battle to mend fences, notably with John McCain supporters.”

After Kari Lake asked the “U.S. Supreme Court to endorse a conspiracy theory” and attempted to evade discovery in the defamation case against her, Arizona Republicans say “Kari Lake looks increasingly like she isn’t a candidate that can win.”

Kari Lake’s power hungry quest to stay in the “limelight” has Republicans warning her campaign “will result in another defeat” as Lake “can’t be trusted in anything she says or does.”

Let’s roll the tape…

12 News Square Off Host Brahm Resnik: … Is it a concession? That she defamed Stephen Richer?

Phoenix Attorney Tom Ryan: Absolutely, it’s a confession that she defamed Stephen Richer. She said the things that she said, she did it with intent, and she did it most importantly with malice

Arizona Republic’s Editorial Editor Elvia Díaz: She’s admitting that she lied…  politically very damaging.

MSNBC’s Chris Jansing: Kari Lake’s attempt at a campaign makeover appears to have fallen flat… members of the Arizona GOP are telling NBC News that Lake faces an uphill battle to mend fences, notably with John McCain supporters whom she once told to get out of a party event.

NBC’s Vaughn Hillyard: Attacks against fellow Republicans that will keep them from voting for her most likely again in November. This is expected to be a close U.S. Senate race in November, but Kari Lake is not doing herself any favors among particularly a sub sect of Republicans
