ONE NIGHT ONLY: A Puppet, a Cowboy, and a Plus-One
After a Week of Puppet-Provoked Infighting, Masters and Lamon Will Face Off at a GOP Senate Forum
PHOENIX — On SATURDAY at 2:00 PM local time, Jim Lamon and Blake Masters will face off in person after a week of fighting online. Justin Olson will also be there, although we’re not sure why.
One week ago, Jim Lamon launched a negative ad against Masters, introducing his rival, “fake” Blake Masters, “the puppet of California Big Tech,” to voters across Arizona. Masters was less than impressed with the ad, throwing a temper tantrum on Twitter for all to see and calling Lamon “lame” and “desperate.”
In the week since, the two have fought relentlessly over the ad, attacking each other online and in interviews — and we’re willing to bet a face-to-face meet-up on the campaign trail won’t be any different.
