Statement from Democratic Party Chair Yolanda Bejarano in Response to Grand Jury Indictments of GOP County Supervisors

PHOENIX– Arizona Democratic Party Chair Yolanda Bejarano released the following statement:

“Cochise County GOP Supervisors disregarded the law and attempted to silence the voices of Arizona voters. We support Attorney General Kris Mayes for holding these extremist Republican Supervisors accountable, upholding the rule of law, and defending our democracy. National Republicans see Arizona as a testing ground for election denialism and Democrats will continue to hold extreme MAGA-Republicans accountable for sowing distrust into our election systems.”
