Republican SOS Candidates Prove Just How Extreme and Out of Touch They Really Are
GOP candidates continue to push dangerous lies about the 2020 election and their role in January 6th
Phoenix – Republic Secretary of State Candidates continue to peddle dangerous conspiracy theories in the hopes of gaining favor with a fringe minority. We are less than four months away from the August primary and candidates are still struggling to emerge on top (and deny their involvement in the January 6th Insurrection) in this chaotic and crowded primary.
Mark Finchem, the current subject of a federal subpoena by the House Select Committee investigating January 6th, was just yesterday in court, defending his ability to be on the ballot after he participated in the infamous “Stop the Steal Rally” that devolved into rioters attempting to overthrow the Capitol and put a stop to our nation’s historic tradition of peacefully transferring power.
Meanwhile, State Senator Michelle Ugenti-Rita and State Representative Shawnna Bolick are busy tinkering away at the Capitol, doing absolutely nothing to find solutions for the real problems our state is facing. Both lawmakers are sitting on a $5.3 billion dollar (not a typo, it’s BILLION) surplus, and instead of proposing solutions to fully fund our public schools, address our crippling water crisis, or even strengthen our economy – they are fully focused bullying trans-kids and waging the COVID culture wars.
Finally, we have Beau Lane. Don’t recognize the name? Well, neither do we.

When people show you who they are, believe them. These Republicans have shown Arizonans who they are: dangerous, out of touch, and untrustworthy. ”
