Arizona Democratic Party Commemorates Juneteenth

ARIZONA- Arizona Democratic Party Chair Yolanda Bejarano released the following statement in observation of Juneteenth:

“On Juneteenth, we commemorate emancipation, recognize the unfinished work of justice and equality in America, and reflect on the hardship Black Americans faced in the struggle for equal opportunities and full citizenship. Every day, Black Arizonans face barriers fueled by systemic inequalities and racism. Today and every day,the Arizona Democratic Party remains committed to honoring Black history, breaking barriers, and continuing to forge a better path for Arizonans.”
