NO DAYS OFF: Masters, McGuire Spent the Long Weekend Bashing Their #AZSEN Opponents
“If we run someone like Jim Lamon in the general…my gosh”
PHOENIX — Now boys, if you can’t say anything nice…
There are no days off for the C-List clown car GOP Senate primary field who spent the long weekend attacking each other – escalating a chaotic contest that has already seen its fair share of GOP infighting.
True to his tech bro roots, Blake Masters spent hours during a late-night Twitter Space bashing his opponents:
- He called out Utah-resident Jim Lamon for “buying up endorsements,” doing “business with China,” and self-funding his campaign “to feel like [he’s] getting ahead.”
- He then turned to Mark Brnovich, calling him a “mediocre career politician,” attacking him for hiding from the campaign trail, and mocking his investigation into the Maricopa County 2020 election “audit.”
Mick McGuire hit Brnovich once again, this time for his shady political ties:
- Like Masters, McGuire attacked Brnovich for being absent from the campaign trail, tweeting that he “can’t be bothered to meet with voters.”
- He also highlighted his chronically corrupt political behavior and accused Brnovich of being incapable of doing his current job.
