NEW ADP VIDEO: Introducing the GOP #AZSen Candidates
PHOENIX — The GOP Senate primary ballot is officially set — and the Arizona Democratic Party is marking the occasion by releasing a new digital video to introduce Arizona voters to the “decidedly weak” field of “lesser-known Republicans.”
On August 2nd, GOP primary voters will find themselves begrudgingly stuck, choosing between:
- “Plan-B” Mark Brnovich: A corrupt career politician known for abusing his office for personal gain and spinelessly caving to Trump;
- Jim “Lemon” Lamon: A Utah resident turned Arizona carpetbagger and out-of-touch businessman with shady ties to China;
- “Half-baked” Blake Masters: A California tech bro bankrolled by his Big Tech billionaire benefactor and willing to say anything to win;
- “Might forget him” Mick McGuire: Apparently a candidate for U.S. Senate; and
- “Anonymous” Justin Olson: Apparently a candidate for U.S. Senate.
“Arizona Republicans are stuck with a deeply-flawed, out-of-touch field of Senate primary candidates, each with a laundry list of vulnerabilities and months still to go of brutal intra-primary attacks and in-fighting,” said ADP spokesperson Hannah Goss. “With no frontrunner in sight, these candidates are wading into an expensive and exhausting primary that is sure to last well into the summer. Regardless of whoever makes it out of the race, he’ll emerge from the primary badly bruised and poorly positioned to face Senator Kelly in the fall’s general election.”
