MEDIA ADVISORY: Arizona Democratic Party Chair Yolanda Bejarano to Attend the Somerton Tamale Festival

ARIZONA- This Saturday, December 16th, Arizona Democratic Party Chair Yolanda Bejarano will attend the 2023 Somerton Tamale Festival. The largest in the state of Arizona, the Somerton Tamale Festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year to Yuma County.

“Growing up in Roll, I was surrounded by people who value their families and their traditions,” said Arizona Democratic Party Chair Yolanda Bejarano. “The Somerton Tamale Festival is a great opportunity to celebrate these values and connect with Arizonans. I look forward to communicating with voters on what we can do to keep moving Yuma and Arizona forward.”

“The Yuma County Democratic Party is proud to be a part of the Tamale Festival, and support local vendors and the efforts of El Diablito Alumni to provide scholarships to Yuma County ASU students,” said the Yuma County Democratic Party Chair Xanthe Bullard. “We are excited to celebrate and give back to what makes Yuma so special — our community.”
