MASTERS MOMENT: The One Where He Says the Supreme Court Should Not Have Legalized Gay Marriage
 

PHOENIX — Welcome to today’s ‘Masters Moment’ — a daily opportunity to shine light on Blake Masters’ out-of-touch, offensive, and disqualifying beliefs and opinions.

Over the next 36 days, the ‘Masters Moment’ will be your number one source for all things Masters. While he attempts a desperate pivot to hide his “fringe,” “extreme,” and “dangerous” ideas, every day we’ll be releasing the audio and video to prove, in his own words, who Masters really is – and that he’s a risk Arizonans can’t afford.  

Today’s moment, where Masters opposes the right to privacy, including same-sex marriage protections and legal abortion, and says gay marriage should not have been legalized: 

Masters: “It’s supposed to be hard for a reason. Frankly, the Supreme Court just squinting and making up [unintelligible] the rights in the Constitution, the right to privacy that was for abortion, the right to gay marriage. I disagree with that,” (At the Queen Creek-San Tan Valley Republican Women Club, 2/8/22).
