MASTERS MOMENT: The One Where He Mocks “Cat Ladies,” Says Not Having Children is “Demented”

PHOENIX — Welcome to today’s ‘Masters Moment’ — a daily opportunity to shine light on Blake Masters’ out-of-touch, offensive, and disqualifying beliefs and opinions.

Over the next 82 days, the ‘Masters Moment’ will be your number one source for all things Masters. While he attempts a desperate pivot to hide his “fringe,” “extreme,” and “dangerous” ideas, every day we’ll be releasing the audio and video to prove, in his own words, who Masters really is – and that he’s a risk Arizonans can’t afford.

Today’s moment, where Masters insults women without children:

Masters: “You see, the cat ladies just kind of say, oh, I don’t want to be married. Marriage is a construct of the patriarchy, right? I don’t want to have children. Why would you have children? Having children is bad for the environment. And that’s demented. But what’s really sad is that is the governing ideology,” (At the Republicans for National Renewal’s “It’s a Wonderful Nation” Christmas reception, 12/19/21).
