Arizona Democratic Party Statement on AZ June Jobs Numbers 

Thanks to Bidenomics and Democrats’ agenda, nonfarm payroll jobs increased by 2,800 in Arizona during June, and unemployment is at 3.5%
 

ARIZONA– Today, Arizona Democratic Party Chair Yolanda Berjano released the following statement after the U.S. Department of Labor announced that nonfarm payroll jobs in Arizona increased by 2,800 jobs last month.The June jobs report builds on two years of record job growth and low unemployment rates in Arizona and across the country thanks to President Biden’s economic agenda. 

“Month after month, across almost every metric, Bidenomics is building our economy from the bottom up and middle out – a complete 180 from the last administration’s failed policies that tanked our economy, shipped jobs overseas, and let everyday Americans fall through the cracks. Despite MAGA Republicans’ best efforts to erase this progress, Arizonans can rest assured that President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Democrats will continue to stay laser-focused on creating more good-paying jobs, lowering costs for families, and investing in our economy,” said Arizona Party Chair Yolanda Berjano.
