Latest, weak grasp at straws further demonstrates how out-of-touch Arizona GOP is with issues Arizonans care most about

ARIZONA– Arizona Democratic Party Chairwoman Yolanda Bejarano released the following statement following the formation of the House Ad Hoc Committee on Executive Oversight, a partisan attempt to ensure Democrats in Arizona’s top offices cannot effectively deliver results for Arizonans: 

“Here’s yet another example of Arizona GOP wasting time by playing politics instead of doing the job that Arizonans actually elected them to do– improving the local quality of life. The Speaker should take a lesson out of Mayes’ book and try to hold big corporations accountable for price gouging working people; protect the precious resource that is our water; work towards a more equitable public education system; and defend the rights that Arizonans care most about like the right to choose to have an abortion. These are the results Attorney General Kris Mayes and Arizona Democrats have delivered time and time again, and it is why we will be successful up and down the ballot in November.”
