Arizona Democratic Party Announces New Party Chair: Yolanda Bejarano

PHOENIX- Today, Arizona Democratic Party State Committee Members convened virtually to conduct Party business, including electing a new Party Chair. With all the votes counted, we are excited to announce that Yolanda Bejarano is our new Party Chair!

Yolanda Bejarano is the daughter of immigrants and a lifelong Arizonan born and raised in Roll. Most recently, she was the Field Director for Communications Workers of America where she trained and recruited union members to build worker power. Yoli is an organizer at heart and values grassroots movements. She also understands the role Arizona plays on the national political stage. We could not be more excited to continue building on our successes with Yoli at the helm!

Chair Bejarano released the following statement:

“I am honored to have been elected the new Arizona Democratic Party Chair, and I thank my peers for putting their trust in me for this very important role,” said Arizona Democratic Party Chair Yolanda Bejarano. “Arizona Democrats had huge successes in both 2020 and 2022, and it is my full intention to continue that trajectory into 2024 and beyond.”

“There is much to be done and I look forward to speaking with people across the state to ensure that we have a successful and unified strategy not just for federal races but for our state and local races as well. Let’s get to work!”
