ADVISORY: ADP Chair Raquel Terán and Local Leaders Encourage Arizonans to Vote in the Face of GOP Attacks on Our Elections

AG Candidate Kris Mayes, Supervisor Steve Gallardo to Join Terán Calling Out GOP Lies Undermining Arizona’s Secure and Trusted Early Voting System
PHOENIX — On Friday morning, in the face of Republican lies attempting to undermine our secure early voting system, ADP Chair and State Senator Raquel Terán, candidate for Attorney General Kris Mayes, and Maricopa County Supervisor Steve Gallardo will hold a press conference to encourage Arizonans to make their voices heard.

Democrats, Republicans, and Independents all agree that Arizona does elections well — that’s why nearly 90% of Arizonans cast their ballots before Election Day using our easy, secure, and trusted early voting system. No amount of election lies or pre-emptive claims of cheating from the GOP ticket including Masters, Lake, Finchem, and Hamadeh can keep Arizonans from voting this year.

Voting early is an Arizona tradition, and there is too much at stake – the right to an abortion, protecting seniors’ Social Security, and defending our democracy – to sit this election out.

RSVP: Please RSVP here for location details.

WHAT: Press conference to encourage Arizonans to vote despite GOP efforts to undermine our early voting system

WHEN: Friday, October 28th, 7:30 – 8:00 am MST

WHO:

  • Raquel Terán, Chair of the Arizona Democratic Party and State Senator
  • Kris Mayes, Candidate for Arizona Attorney General
  • Steve Gallardo, Maricopa County Supervisor
