ADVISORY: Mission for Arizona To Host “Signature Slam” Event with Mayor Kate Gallego

PHOENIX — On Saturday, February 19th, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego will kick off a bilingual Phoenix signature-gathering event as a part of the Mission for Arizona Coordinated Campaign’s statewide Signature Slam Day of Action.

At these events, volunteers will collect signatures from Arizonans to get Senator Mark Kelly on the ballot this November. This day of action also coincides with Senator Kelly’s birthday on Monday.

After kicking off in June of 2021 – earlier than any previous Arizona Coordinated Campaign – Mission for Arizona has developed an unprecedented organizing program. Already, Organizers and volunteers are taking action across the state to reach out to voters in English and Spanish about what’s at stake in the upcoming November election. These early events demonstrate the substantial energy behind Mission for Arizona and its mission.
