48 HOURS LATER: Blake Masters Is Still Silent on the Enforcement of Arizona’s Pre-Statehood Abortion Ban

The GOP #AZSen Nominee Has Already Called to Nationalize the Pre-Statehood Ban, Pushing the Archaic Law on Women in All 50 States
PHOENIX — In the 48 hours since a Pima County judge ruled to enforce Arizona’s pre-statehood abortion ban, outlawing abortion without exception for rape or incest and mandating jail time for providers, Blake Masters has been completely silent.

Just as the Republican Senate nominee scrubbed his campaign website to try and hide his self-described “100% pro-life” position, Masters is now trying to hide the fact that he has already said he would support federalizing Arizona’s restrictive ban.

  • Washington Post: Asked last year on One America News if he would support a national ban similar to an Arizona law dating back to the 1800s that “bans all abortions,” Masters said yes.

Blake Masters can hide from this ruling all he wants, but Arizonans know exactly where he stands — and it’s not with us. Not only did Masters announce his support for this law, he also called to nationalize it, a dangerous belief that would force this archaic abortion ban on women in all fifty states. With each and every refusal to comment, it becomes even more clear that Arizonans cannot trust Blake Masters,” said ADP spokesperson Hannah Goss.
