ARIZONA -– In the fifth episode of Kari Lake’s Nightmare Before Christmas, Kari Lake compares her 2022 gubernatorial loss to Donald Trump’s 2020 loss, yet again pushing election conspiracy theories over a month after she launched her campaign for Senate.

Kari Lake has had her day in court, many of them, and has lost over and over. Her attorneys have been sanctioned for “unequivocally false” claims and could face disbarment. She continues to refuse to concede her gubernatorial loss, insisting that she would “represent myself before I drop the case.”

Next week, on December 19th, oral arguments will begin in Republican Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer’s defamation case against Kari Lake, her campaign and the Save Arizona Fund, “a dark money nonprofit that Lake controls and that has raised untold sums of money to fund her legal efforts to overturn the 2022 election.”

Kari Lake: “I kind of feel like I’m in a microcosm of what’s happening to President Trump. We have legitimate cases we want to- that the public has an interest in and we want to pursue them and just like President Trump, you know, they were thrown out, the judges ruled against them. They were told they didn’t have standing. And now they’re going after him, going against his, you know, properties, his business, you name it. Same thing happening with me, Stephen Richer, suing me for defamation for having the courage to speak out about what went wrong on elections.”
