ICYMI: “Unknown” Blake Masters Dishes His Foreign Policy Hot Takes
Arizona Jewish Leaders Call Him an “Extremist” Candidate, Neglect to Back the CA Tech Bro
PHOENIX — In a new profile by Jewish Insider, GOP Senate candidate Blake Masters spouted his seemingly half-baked thoughts on everything from the “wide-open” primary field to the world’s most pressing foreign policy conundrums.
The nearly 5,000-word piece covered a series of Blake’s hot takes, including:
- His thoughts on Israel: Masters called the country a “tough neighborhood”…twice.
- His “admiration” of Senator Rand Paul, even though Paul, as Insider taught Masters mid-interview, is actively blocking additional Iron Dome funding.
- His praise for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: “I’d love her endorsement […] I think she’s just really impressive” – only to later backtrack after Insider reiterated her antisemitic views: “She’s not, like, super close to me.”
Meanwhile, Arizonan Jewish community leaders have been less than impressed.
One Republican community leader called him an “unknown,” another characterized him as an “extremist,” and said, “no one knows him either inside or outside of the Jewish community.”
