 Today, former Arizona Governor Doug Ducey endorsed Donald Trump for President and Kari Lake for Senate. Arizona Democratic Party Chairwoman Yolanda Bejarano released the following statement: 

“Doug Ducey has consistently put political interests above the well-being of Arizonans. We saw it when he sold off Arizona’s water rights and packed the Supreme Court with extremists that issued the 1864 abortion ban; we are seeing it again now as he endorses Donald Trump and his divisive and extreme Project 2025 agenda that will raise taxes and cut Social Security for Arizonans. This is not what Arizonans want for the future of our state, which is why they will reject Trump and Lake in November. ”
