Voters from across the state came out in droves to support Democrats running up and down the ballot during this week’s primary. The Arizona Democratic Party is proud to support Ruben Gallego as the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate and to once again defeat conspiracy theorist and election-denier Kari Lake.

“Ruben Gallego will always put Arizonans first. Ruben has delivered results for Arizona and will continue the work of cutting costs, defending abortion rights, and taking care of our veterans and seniors in the U.S. Senate,” said Arizona Democratic Party Chairwoman Yolanda Bejarano. “Kari Lake, however, will say or do anything to gain political power – including lying to Arizonans.  Her toxic agenda of banning abortion, gutting seniors’ and veterans’ benefits, and pushing conspiracy theories is out-of-step with Arizonans, and voters will reject her once again in November.”

Ruben Gallego has delivered key results on the issues Arizonans care most about: 

• Supported the Inflation Reduction Act that capped the cost of insulin to $35 a month.
• Helped bring hundreds of thousands of jobs to Arizona through the CHIPS Act.
• Committed to defending fundamental freedoms like reproductive rights.
