Arizona Democratic Party Thanks Karrin Taylor Robson For Years of Funding Democrats

Robson fails to mention the thousands of dollars she has contributed to Democrats as she attacks Kari Lake

PHOENIX — The Arizona Democratic Party would like to extend a warm “thank you” to Karrin Taylor Robson for her longtime financial support to help elect Democratic candidates up and down the ballot.  During the GOP primary debate last month, Karrin Taylor Robson repeated one of her favorite lines of attack as she called out Kari Lake for a $350 contribution to President Obama in 2008. What Robson didn’t mention is her hypocrisy on this subject, as she herself is a big funder of Arizona Democrats, funneling thousands of dollars to Democratic candidates as recently as 2020.

As the Yellow Sheet Report revealed, “Robson contributed to Democrats over Republicans in Phoenix city council and mayoral races by nearly a two-to-one margin.” And the Phoenix Business Journal wrote that Robson held a “post-election fundraiser “ for Rep. Ruben Gallego. From Democratic Reps. Ed Pastor and Ruben Gallego, to Daniel Valenzuela and Greg Stanton, Robson has helped fund them all and more.

While Robson uses her millions to buy TV ads and hide her true self, voters just aren’t buying what she’s selling. And it’s no surprise – this is precisely the kind of political hypocrisy that aggravates people,” Josselyn Berry, spokesperson for the Arizona Democratic Party said. “As the Republican primary for governor continues to stir toxic infighting, the Arizona Democratic Party will always be grateful for Robson’s longtime support in helping elect Democrats up and down the ballot, including this November.”
