The Arizona Democratic Party Native American Caucus proudly announces its endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for President of the United States in the upcoming election. In addition, the Caucus strongly endorses the selection of Senator Mark Kelly as candidate for Vice President.
The Caucus, comprised of Native American members of the Arizona Democratic Party, elected leaders, and allies, has long advocated for policies that support and uplift Native American communities. This endorsement comes after comprehensive dialogue amongst Caucus members. The Caucus trusts in the vision and leadership of both Vice President Harris and Senator Kelly, and has seen first hand the support they have and will continue to bring to indigenous peoples.

We deeply appreciate and thank President Biden and his administration for an unparalleled commitment to Native American communities,” stated Ginger Sykes Torres, Chairwoman of the Arizona Native American Caucus. “His decisive policies and historic investments in tribal communities have laid the groundwork for a future in which indigenous families can prosper.”
Building on this foundation, the Caucus believes that Vice President Harris is the best candidate to continue this legacy of inclusive governance. Her focus on civil rights, environmental justice, and economic equality aligns with the values and needs of Native American communities. Moreover, Senator Mark Kelly’s dedicated advocacy for tribal nations in Arizona and his efforts in the Senate have shown that he is the leader we need as the next Vice President.
