ARIZONA– Arizona Democratic Party Chairwoman Yolanda Bejarano released the following statement as President Joe Biden won the democratic Presidential Preference Election tonight: 

“Thank you to every voter who participated in the Presidential Preference Election. Tonight’s results demonstrate the overwhelming support for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’s work building back our country and Arizona from the dire state left by Donald Trump. Four years ago, Arizonans’ values for Democracy and unity in the face of Donald Trump’s campaign of divisiveness, retribution, and revenge helped secure President Biden’s win and this year, we’re confident that our state will choose President Biden’s vision of unity and progress again. Tonight was a trial run for this year’s election and while there’s still a long path to victory, if tonight’s results are any indication, Arizona will deliver again this November.”
