ARIZONA– Today, Arizona Democratic Party Chair Yolanda Bejarano responded to confirmation that U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema is not running for reelection: 

“The most disastrous thing for hardworking Arizonans would be a Senator Kari Lake. Kari Lake has time and time again demonstrated she will say or do anything to advance her own political ambitions at Arizonans’ expense – including standing in the way of good-paying jobs, gutting affordable healthcare, and banning abortion. In contrast, candidates like Ruben Gallego have delivered results for Arizonans and will fight for the many things on the line this election. The Arizona Democratic Party will proudly support the Democratic nominee for Senate and help Arizonans reject Kari Lake’s extremism again in November.”
