GOP Candidates Make Their Race to the Bottom Official, Leaving Republican Voters With a Clown Car to Choose From

PHOENIX — Today, with Matt Salmon officially filing to make the Republican gubernatorial ballot alongside Kari Lake and Karrin Taylor Robson, the GOP field has left Republican voters with no good options.

Come August 2nd, Arizona Republicans will have a hard choice to make:

Matt Salmon, a prolific lobbyist who already failed once in his quest for the Governor’s office in 2004.
Or Karrin Taylor Robson, a wealthy, out-of-touch elite who has wasted millions of dollars trying to buy votes but is still trailing by a whopping 22 points.

Or Kari Lake, a conspiracy theorist who cares more about being Donald Trump’s puppet than about working for everyday Arizonans.

No matter who wins in that primary field, we all lose.

Oh, did we forget about Steve Gaynor? Whoops. So did Arizona.
