Ahead of Arizona MAGA Rally, Karrin Taylor Robson and Kari Lake Join Trump in Sowing Doubts About 2024 Election, Won’t Promise to Certify Election Results

PHOENIX — It’s no secret that Donald Trump and Kari Lake have been vocal conspiracy theorists, pushing disproven lies about the 2020 election and sowing doubt about future ones. But Karrin Taylor Robson has also consistently said she doesn’t trust the results of the 2020 election and has refused to say if she would certify Arizona’s 2024 election if she were governor. Meanwhile, Trump is headed to Arizona this Saturday for a rally with Kari Lake where no doubt they’ll both continue lying about the 2020 election.

“Taylor Robson is deceiving Arizona voters, wanting them to believe she’s the sane and practical choice over Kari Lake, when in fact she’s pushing the same fringe election conspiracies as Donald Trump and Kari Lake,” said Josselyn Berry, spokesperson for the Arizona Democratic Party. “Taylor Robson has eagerly hopped on the MAGA bandwagon by refusing to reject false and baseless claims that the last election was rigged and future elections will be as well. Arizona voters are frankly over this tired narrative about elections and want a governor who’s focused on tackling issues that will actually improve the lives of Arizonans.”

VIDEO: Karrin Taylor Robson Refused to Commit to Certifying the 2024 Presidential Election, Saying She Would Make “a Judgment Call as to Whether That Evidence is Sufficient to Certify an Election or Not.”

On the July 10th airing of Sunday Square Off, Brahm Resnick asked Karrin Taylor Robson, “One of your most important jobs will be to certify the 2024 presidential election….can you tell voters now you would not allow conspiracy theories like the kinds we’ve heard and I suspect, fear, will continue to influence your decision when it comes to certifying the 2024 presidential election?” In response, Taylor Robson dodged, saying,  “What I can assure every voter and every citizen of Arizona is that I will look at the evidence presented to me as a lawyer, that’s what I do. I look at the evidence. I don’t answer hypothetical questions. I look at the evidence presented to me, and I will make a judgment call as to whether or not that evidence is sufficient to certify an election or not.”

Karrin Taylor Robson Has Repeatedly Said the 2020 Election Wasn’t Fair, Refused to Say if She Would Have Certified the Election

During the first and only GOP gubernatorial debate  on June 29th, Karrin Taylor Robson refused to answer if she would’ve certified the 2020 election and said the elections “weren’t fair” before regurgitating fake conspiracy theories about the media and big tech companies suppressing conservative voices and new voting rules and laws that helped Democrats. Taylor Robson has repeated this false claim several times before.

Kari Lake Has Consistently And Falsely Claimed The 2020 Election Was “Stolen” And “Corrupt.”

At the same GOP debate, Lake claimed that the right-wing and fraudulent 2020 election audit was proof the election was rigged, and defended the right-wing propaganda film, “2,000 Mules.” Lake has also said of Biden: “He lost the election, and he shouldn’t be in the White House.”

Kari Lake Agrees She’ll Refuse to Concede the 2022 Arizona Election

At an early July event with Mark Finchem, Lake agreed that she’ll refuse to concede the election if she loses and goes on to say Trump didn’t concede, saying she thinks that was “really smart.”

Kari Lake Claims Dead People Will Vote for Her Opponent

At another event in Tucson earlier this month, Lake claimed that Karrin Taylor Robson is going to steal the election by having dead people vote for her.
