REMINDER: Arizona Democrats to Hold Press Conference Ahead of Trump’s Rally and Pence’s AZ Visit

PHOENIX — FRIDAY, at 9:00 AM MST, Arizona leaders will join Arizona Democratic Party Chairwoman Raquel Terán for a press conference ahead of Donald Trump’s rally in Arizona to highlight how dangerous and out of touch the former president and his endorsed candidates are for Arizonans.

Joined by his slate of endorsed statewide candidates like extremists Kari Lake, Blake Masters, Mark Finchem, and Abe Hamadeh, Trump is sure to take the stage to tout his MAGA agenda which helped pave the way for Republicans in states to enact extreme abortion bans and restrictions and gift the ultra-wealthy and corporations billions in tax giveaways. What’s more: This weekend’s visit — less than three weeks out from primary day — will only make messy Republican primaries messier, escalating infighting up and down the ballot.

Speakers at today’s press conference will remind voters that while Republicans are busy pandering to fringe extremists for political points, Democrats are fighting to lower costs, defend abortion access, and protect benefits for working Arizonans and their families.
