ADVISORY: Two Months After the Fall of Roe, Arizonans Call Out Blake Masters’ Push for a Nationwide Abortion Ban
Masters Supports a Federal Ban Without Exceptions, Called Abortion “Demonic”
PHOENIX — TODAY at 10:30 am local time, on the two month anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe. v. Wade, Arizona leaders will join the Arizona Democratic Party for a press conference to highlight Blake Masters’ dangerous plan to go even further and institute a national abortion ban.
In the two months since the Dobbs ruling, abortion access has effectively ended in Arizona — but that’s not enough for “extreme” Blake Masters. Instead, the GOP Senate nominee has called to institute a federal personhood law, which could mean women and health care providers facing jail time for seeking lifesaving health care. He has even gone as far as calling abortion “demonic.”
In Arizona, where 87% of voters support the right to legal abortion, Masters’ views are not only harmful, but wildly out-of-touch.
