RECAP: Democrats Get Out the Vote in Last Few Days of Early Voting
PHOENIX — Over the last three days, Arizona Democrats held press conferences in both English and Spanish to encourage voters across Arizona to cast their ballots using Arizona’s trusted, easy, and secure election process heading into the last weekend of early voting.

La Voz: Futuro de Arizona esta en manos de votantes latinos, aseguran funcionarios y activistas

Arizona Congressman Ruben Gallego, State Senator Raquel Teran, State Representative Marcelino Quiñonez and LUCHA Arizona Director Alejandra Gomez held a press conference Thursday in Phoenix to urge the Latino community to get out and vote this November 8.
[Gallego] added that if they take the majority in Congress, Republicans would see a way to take away protections for “Dreamers,” the young undocumented immigrants who are mostly protected by Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
“All of the GOP candidates are convinced that the 2020 election was non-existent and not right,” Quiñonez said. “Arizona for more than 30 years has proven that voting through the mail is secure. So, every person who wants to stand up for and agrees with democracy in America and in Arizona, join in voting for every Democratic candidate.”

NBC Tucson: Local Democratic Leaders Encourage Tucsonans to Vote

With the midterms just four days away, Democrats are encouraging Tucsonans to head to the polls.
Today, Arizona Democrats held a conference at the Historic Pima County Courthouse. They centered their message on secure elections, despite Republican attacks on Arizona’s early voting system.
In their push to get people to the pulls, they also shared what they believe is at stake in this election: the right to an abortion, protecting seniors’ Social Security, and defending Arizona’s elections.

ABC Tucson: Democratic Leaders Hold News Conference, Encourage Voters to Head to Polls

The Democratic Party held a news conference today hoping to motivate people to head to the polls….Leaders pushed for the public to let their voices be heard and to trust the election process despite what they describe as recent attacks they describe as recent attacks on Arizona’s voting systems.
[Terán said,] “We all know that our systems are safe, secure and accurate and we want to make sure that their voices are heard. We have seen that our communities, especially here in Pima County, are coming out in great numbers…The more that we participate in our democracy, the healthier our democracy.”

Univision: The Latest Effort Before the Election

“And everyone go to the polls by November 8th.” The Democratic Party also continues with activities to motivate the Hispanic vote, like a press conference today.
“[President Obama] gave a speech that energized all of us who were present, the people who saw it online. And what do Republicans bring? They keep spouting the extremism of Donald Trump.”
Some political analysts believe that these latest campaign efforts by both parties could motivate the participation of the electorate on November 8, and among them are Hispanics.
