ADVISORY: Democrats Unite to Launch Mission for Arizona “Unity Weekend of Action”
Arizona Democratic Party Chair Raquel Terán, Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, Rep. Greg Stanton, and more will kick off canvasses across the state
PHOENIX — This weekend – just days after Arizona’s primary – Democrats across the state will come together to launch a series of canvasses for the Mission For Arizona Coordinated Campaign uniting behind the newly elected slate of Democratic candidates. The “Unity Weekend of Action” volunteers will go door to door and talk to voters in both English and Spanish about the importance of re-electing Senator Kelly and Democrats up and down the ticket this November.
The Mission For Arizona Coordinated Campaign kicked off in June 2021, earlier than any previous Coordinated Campaign in Arizona. Since then, the organization has hit the ground running, working for over a year to organize and ultimately turn out voters in communities in every corner of the state. Organizers have been making calls, knocking doors, and contacting voters online to talk about what’s at stake in this election.
Canvasses will launch at 9 am and 12 pm on both Saturday, August 6th, and Sunday, August 7th from Mission for Arizona field offices across the state.
