Spotted: Brnovich Failing to Walk the Most Pointless Tight Rope in Existence

Brnovich Trying to Have It Both Ways As He Plans to Skip Trump’s Saturday Rally While Going All In on Supporting Sham Audit & False Election Fraud Claims

PHOENIX — Tomorrow, Arizona Republican Senate candidates Jim Lamon, Mick McGuire, and Blake Masters will proudly attend former President Trump’s rally where he’ll espouse dangerous lies and conspiracies around the 2020 election and sham Maricopa County “audit,” and promote his rejected agenda of opposing bipartisan infrastructure investments, gutting protections for Arizonans with pre-existing conditions, and giving tax handouts to corporations.

Meanwhile, Mark Brnovich is trying to have it both ways: After Trump called Brnovich “lackluster” and claimed, “no Arizona Republican will vote for him in the upcoming election,” Brnovich entered the Senate race and immediately went all-in on the sham “audit” and stoked baseless claims of election fraud. But now he is skipping the rally, too afraid to see if he has done enough to protect himself from Trump and his supporters’ ire, or hoping that Trump’s support won’t be the difference in the primary.

Of course, we all know that when push comes to shove, Brnovich will cave to Trump, as he has done with the sham “audit,” and as he did when he signed Arizona onto the lawsuit to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

ADP Spokesperson Sarah Guggenheimer released the following statement:

“If Brnovich truly thinks avoiding this rally will do anything to disguise the ways he’s already betrayed Arizonans to protect himself from Trump’s scorn, he’s sorely mistaken.”
