National GOP Senate Campaign Chair: Inflation “Is a Gold Mine For Us”

Do AZ GOP Senate Candidates Agree?
PHOENIX – While Democrats are hard at work addressing rising costs for working families, National Senate Campaign Chair Rick Scott is rejoicing in its potential political benefits. In a Wall Street Journal interview, Scott flat out claimed that inflation: “is a gold mine for us.” Scott’s comments show just how out of touch Republican politicians are with the issues Arizona families care about and go a long way towards explaining why Republicans are so opposed to lowering costs for families and seniors.

As Jim Lamon, Mick McGuire, Mark Brnovich, Blake Masters, and Justin Olson all vie for their party’s Senate nomination, each candidate must tell Arizonans if they agree with Scott.

“Washington Republicans see rising costs as nothing more than a political tool. Meanwhile, Senator Kelly understands that rising costs are hurting Arizona families, which is why he’s hard at work on legislation to lower drug prices, cut costs for families and seniors, and bring more high-paying jobs to the state” said ADP Spokesperson Sarah Guggenheimer. “As Scott rejoices in the struggling of Arizona families, his comments beg the question: Do Senate primary candidates Jim Lamon, Mick McGuire, Mark Brnovich, Blake Masters, and Justin Olson agree?”
