PHOENIX — As hardworking Arizonans observed Labor Day this weekend, they sadly could not rest assured that unelected U.S. Sen. Martha McSally is looking out for them in Washington, D.C.

In fact, the opposite is true. McSally has again and again voted to undercut workers’ freedoms, protections, and rights, even as she continues to be a reliable vote for her powerful corporate special interest donors.

One prominent example is McSally’s support for the 2017 GOP tax law, which not only sent 83% of its benefits to large corporations like Exxon and the richest 1%, but also has resulted in McSally’s corporate donors paying a smaller share of income tax than they have “in nearly 60 years,” while hardworking individuals are left “shouldering a larger share of the country’s tax burden.”
