MCSALLY’S BAD WEEK: $1 MILLION FEC COMPLAINT, CAVES TO RIGHT ON IMMIGRATION DOMINATES AZ NEWS
PHOENIX – On TV and in news stories all week, Arizonans saw how Rep. Martha McSally will say and do anything to try and get ahead. First, she earned a $1 million campaign finance complaint for improper fundraising, and then she caved to pressure from her primary opponents on immigration and Dreamers.
McSally’s FEC infraction was the latest in a lengthy series of campaign finance troubles dating back to 2013, including a recently announced federal audit of her campaign. Her removal from an immigration bill she co-sponsored followed weeks of pressure from Kelli Ward and Joe Arpaio.
