Biden and Democrats Deliver November Tax Cuts for Arizona Families

PHOENIX — Yesterday, thanks to President Joe Biden and Democrats in Congress, the families of 1.4 million Arizona children received more than $350 million in tax cuts to help cover the costs of raising a family — everything from groceries and school uniforms to child care.

While an average monthly payment of $444 may not seem significant to the four Arizona Republicans — Andy Biggs, Paul Gosar, David Schweikert, or Debbie Lesko — who voted against these life-saving tax cuts, they continue to make a huge difference in communities across Arizona.

“The child tax credit is the result of bold, compassionate leadership, good governance, and Democrats’ promise to live our values in the policies we put forth. Not only are President Biden’s tax cuts putting money in families’ pockets — they’re also stimulating local economies by investing in our communities and boosting job growth,” said ADP spokesperson Hannah Goss. “It’s good economic policy and it’s the right thing to do. And that’s why it’s so disgraceful that Arizona Republicans voted against these tax cuts for middle-class families simply because a Democratic President proposed them.”
