Arizona Democratic Party Launches New Organizing Program, Project 15/30
Project 15/30 will register voters and organize communities in Arizona’s 15 counties and 30 legislative districts
PHOENIX — Today, the Arizona Democratic Party announced the launch of Project 15/30, a brand new, year-round organizing program that will organize in all 15 counties and 30 legislative districts. Project 15/30 organizers will build community power by cultivating long-term relationships, registering voters, and organizing year-round, regardless of election cycles.
With Arizona earning national recognition as a battleground state, the ADP is shoring up its infrastructure earlier than ever before, prioritizing grassroots organizing as a critical component of winning up and down the ballot in 2022 and beyond. Community-focused organizing is a crucial tactic to fight back against Republican disinformation and voter suppression.
“Arizona Democrats are ready to defend our historic victories in 2020 and expand them up and down the ballot,” said Raquel Terán, Chair of the Arizona Democratic Party. “The Arizona Democratic Party is doubling down on grassroots organizing by empowering Arizona leaders to educate and mobilize their own communities. Project 15/30 will put the Arizona Democratic Party on the ground NOW in all 15 counties and 30 legislative districts.”
