Kelly the Flipper: A flailing campaign's latest flops

PHOENIX -- Jesse Kelly's flailing congressional campaign is flip-flopping it's way across Southern Arizona. Since the primary election, Kelly the Flipper has changed his tune on everything from Social Security to the Fair Tax.

Kelly's flailing and flopping have already made national news. Earlier this month, Politico reported that Kelly's "[post-primary] approach represents a marked shift from comments he made earlier on the campaign trail, when the emphasis was on how to eliminate both Social Security and Medicare." Now that he's cozying up to the national Republican establishment and undergoing a general election makeover, it's time for Kelly the Flipper to own his record. Watch our video:

Jesse Kelly is out of touch with Southern Arizona families. He has called to "privatize" and "phase out" Social Security. He wants to "eliminate" Medicare and says seniors who receive its benefits are "on the public dole." He even wants to raise taxes on 80 percent of working families in order to lower them for the rich.

"Jesse Kelly's radical agenda is a risk we can't afford," said Luis Heredia, Arizona Democratic Party executive director. "These flip-flops are an obvious attempt to masquerade the truth: Kelly's priorities are dangerous and out of touch with Southern Arizona."
