AZ Dems mourn loss of Cochise County Chair Bob Bland

Andrei Cherny, Arizona Democratic Party chair, gave the following statement today:

"All of us in the Arizona Democratic Party family are deeply saddened by the passing today of our dear friend, Bob Bland. Bob was not only the extraordinarily passionate and committed leader of the Cochise County Democrats, he also served as the chair of all of our statewide county chairs -- the "Jefe of Jefes," as he liked to call it. Bob came from a long family line of Democratic leaders, and our values of justice, equality and compassion clearly ran in his blood. Bob was universally beloved and admired, and though he is gone, his tireless efforts to build grassroots organizations will leave a lasting legacy in Cochise County and across Arizona."
