African-American Caucus
The Mission of the AAC is to increase the number of African Americans participating in Arizona’s political process. This will be accomplished by enhancing the leadership role of African Americans within the Democratic Party. Additionally, the AAC will serve as an advocacy vehicle for Political Educational, Socio-Economic, Health and Welfare issues affecting African Americans.
The goals of the AAC in order of importance are to:
- Increase the number of Precinct Committee Persons (PC)
- Increase the number of registered African Americans
- “Get out the vote efforts” (“GOTV”)
