Legislative District 24

Senate

Katie Hobbs

Katie Hobbs currently represents District 15 in the House of Representatives. She is running for the open Senate seat in the new District 24. In her first term in the legislature, Katie has worked with the other Democrats in the House to fight the extreme Tea Party agenda and bring jobs to our communities, fund our schools, protect consumers, and restore funding for healthcare for vulnerable Arizonans. Katie also sponsored two bills that were signed into law, one of only a handful of Democrats with successful legislation, and the only freshman Democrat. Katie has been a social worker for 20 years, and prior to being elected, she worked with domestic violence victims. Katie is married to Patrick Goodman, and they have two children - Sam, 13 and Hannah, 10
